I never thought I would do it....but the AV is gone. I went to H and H for a T-shirt and left with an 04 Silverado. I loved my AV but this truck was love at first site.

I will still be around the site frequently and hope I can still play with you guys!!!

Enjoy the pics.

Someone has wandered from the flock. Let's all say a prayer for ChevyThunder with the hope of salvation.

How could this possibly happen to one of us. Someone must have put something in his drink...Hoping for a safe return Thunder...........

'eeets still a cheevy truk  :B:

Get a liner (or rhino-liner) soon!

N-Joy!

Dayum, CT, I knew you liked the red of my Av and the signal mirrors but I'd never have suspected this

Maybe we need to start a red chevy club around here! Pennfold would agree! :p

I'm still in shock, trying to figure this out...... ???

Sweet looking truck!

Looks really good raised!

But you will see owning a Silverado
is nice but the AVs really are plusher.
I really like my Fiance's Silverado
but I love my AV. Can't beat it on the
turning radius and the ride quality!

Silverados are great trucks though.
You made a good desicion!
:D

Too bad that there are no forums
like CAFCNA for silverados though...
The ones I've found are not all that
great. :(

Aetatis.

I appreciate everyones comments and ...uhhhmm..condolences. ;D

I really did want to lift the AV. After all was said and done it would have taken quite a while and a ton of $$$ to do it the way I wanted. I guess
I just couldn't get the truck out of me. The Silverado is sooo much easier to take care of.

I do miss the plush conditions in the AV, but the look and most of all the feeling I have when driving the Silverado make up for it. I'm seriously stoked.

Mark..you and the wife both...lol

Grey:
The BFG TA is not new but the KO model is. High shoulder and a neat lip that protects the wheel from rubbing against a curb or something off road. They (BFG) also gurantee you can't get stuck with these tires or they will send a truck to get you..no matter where you are. Cool!!!

ChevyThunder:

I don't mean to steal your Thunder (pun intended..!) but I had a set of the BFG TA KO's put on my '98 Ram almost a year and a half ago...they are a great set of tires and you'll love 'em.

Once I get some of these Christmas bills paid off I'm gonna throw a set of them on my Av...

cool i didn't know H&H was selling new lifted trucks or is this used? I got a red lifted sierra :)

nebraskaz71:

Brand new. 7 miles when I bought it. They have a nice arrival blue on the lot now. They have done 2, and mine was the second. The first was a DGM with a Superlift package. The most recent is a FABTECH like mine. They ride is great and so far in all this snow it has been AWESOME!!!!

Later.

Sweet ride lifted from the dealer -- enjoy and congrats!

(you'll be back)

Well, Chevy Thunder. I'm speechless and that's a rare condition for me. I will say that my husband has a Silverado and it's a superior vehicle compared to other trucks, but I can't keep him out of my Avalanche.

I changed over to the Silverado also. I got mine fully loaded. The thing that I miss most is......................where was I headed with this?

Didn't I just see Chevy Thunder in the Omaha GTG pictures driving a lifted Av?
