Hi,

My truck is parked outdoor, so after a rain, the driver's seat belt would get wet. The section of the belt that was wet is hidden inside the B pillar when not in use. Anybody else had this issue? I plan on inspecting the roof rails channels ASAP.
Thanks,

Clear out your moon roof drains lately? They may be clogged. I prefer to use weed-eater string, others use compressed air.

In addition to checking them check your drain tubes if you have a sunroof. Also do you park with AV nose up or down or any slant from side to side?

I haven't checked the moonroof drains. Are they holes around the periphery of the roof opening? The truck is parked with a slight downhill slant, front of truck points downhill, on my driveway.
Thanks,

Yes open the moon/sun roof and look in the front corners of the channeling. You?ll see one hole on each corner that has tubing that snakes down through the front pillars to the bottom of the truck. Pour water slowly into the channel and you can visually see if it continues to drain or clogs up after a small amount.

The moon roof is not water proof, it keeps most of the water out but relies on the drains to keep water from entering the cabin. Grab a flashlight and a water bottle, head out to the truck, and let us know the results. Good luck Annona!

I thought the seat belts always went into the drivers seat back itself??  I'm confused.  I almost wish mine went into the b-pillar, it might be easier to replace the tensioner which gradually weakens over many years.
