WHAT ACCES SHOULD I ADD?

O

ORIONPAXXX

GUEST
I just bought myself a 2003 Av in the new Blue :B: and I love it more than my girlfriend (shes jealoud already) I want to add some accessories to it. I have the bug deflector and running boards. I was wondering if there are spoilers and what other access I can add to help make mine that much more special.

Welcome to the club!

Yes, there are spoilers available for the Av. Check out our Partner page for a whole bunch of great mods.
There are a ton of threads in this forum discussing many different modifications and add-ons. Just get out your wallet and browse through >:D

I would suggest the billet grille & bowtie, a total stereo upgrade, and tint the windows.

Good luck!

You came to the right place Orion, I second Zimms' welcome to you. (Although perhaps limo tint is not among the first 4 mods I would suggest, but hey, we all have a point of view!). If you are a boom boom stereo kinda guy, we have the A/V & Electronics section, and if you are a 4x4 off-road kinda guy, we have that area covered too, or perhaps you are a stoplight warrior and would like to up the ante, on-pavement performance mods can be found in the Performance Mods section, and of course, you already found the general accessories and mods topic. Heck you can even pick up some of these mods used from fellow members for some savings, we have that covered too >:D

your gal's gonna have plenty to complain about now . . .

Check the different members sigs and photo pages for the most popular mods. Members here have done everything from changing the color of the drl bulbs to intercooled superchargers and everthing in between!

Good advice. I just happen to have a billet grill & bowtie, total stereo replacement, and tinted windows.

I would listen to this guy, he seems to know what he's talking about ;D

Checking sig's is a really good idea . . . as our favorite legal counsel (jackalanche) said . . . we've got you covered just about every way you can possibly turn!

Welcome to the neighborhood!

Psst . . . do the Denali Cluster . . . the tranny temp gauge and 120 MPH speedo are really cool!

I love it more than my girlfriend.

Wow after a line like that I hope you injoy your single life with the AV. >:D
At least I would have too, if I said that to my wife >:D

Welcome to the club!!!!

Enough of the cosmetic stuff, lets talk power and performance.

Check out Dyno-Proven Results on Chevy Small block Article!!

Lets see how we can spend your money quickly and efficiently.

1. Volant intake
2. Whipple supercharger
3. Aquamist water injection system to act as intercooler
4. Direct Hits ignition
5. Yank 2600HD torque converter and 4l60E upgrade to kevlar clutches, etc
6. Transgo performance shift kit.
7. 4.10 gears if you don;t have them
8. The Other Guys headers
9. Exhaust system of your choice
10. HPP3 or Superchips or better yet a custom chip to remove TQM

I think thats about it ~ $10,000 installed ;D

PS, most of these will void your warranty in one fasion or another.

11. New performance cam and rockers would be useful.
12. Some decent tires to finish it off. >:D

Ohh Boy...

Gandolph is trying to spend another newbies savings account... >:D
He asked, I answered - whats the problem here - can't let him spend it all on playing a CD ;D

I bet everyone will agree, you'll never finish your mod list. It seems like everytime I do a mod, I add a mod (or 5) to the to-do list.
My list grows and changes about daily. I think I'm up to 20 to-do's. Now, if I could just find that $5000 I had laying around I could do everything. ;D

That's a shame, that your girl friend is jealous :(. Hell, my wife love the AV as much as I do (and she has a Mustang :D:) Mods are ok with her. Good Luck with the AV or finding a new girl friend

OK so far I have ordered some rear window graphics. Its of a wolf. When I bought my Avalanche I had a pet wolf and she was around 5 months old. She past away just a couple of weeks ago right before Hurricane Lilli hit us down here in Louisiana. My Avalanche is Blue and I named it Blue which was also the name of my wolf. She was sick and I guess it was her time even though she was young. But my Avalanche will be my little tribute to her. The rear window graphics are great and will post pictures when I get them installed. I have also ordered the Smoke headlight covers, and the window rain guards(visors). Now I am hearing everone talk about the Denali cluster dash. I am looking at the Nu image flame job. But it doesnt say if it fits the 2003 just the 2002. Has anyone checked this out? Same with dash kits I am having problems finding 2003 dash kits.
