First choice was the Summit White..which I went with...my second choice would have been the Sunset Orange....my third choice would have been the Indigo Blue......
Wanted Sunset Orange as no one really carries this color. Wife said Black. I guess I got to pick the color last time so this was her turn. I do like the black... a lot!
RED!!, RED!!, Paint it RED, there's no substitute for RED!!
Just a few words from the Red Rocker himself ?
I probably would have went with white if I could have gotten the cladding painted when I bought it. But to much of a contrast for me. First red vehicle I've owned but not the last!!

Well, I'll be! I thought RED would be RARE! And here it is, so far, the most popular color (tied with black)! WOW! Chevylover... It looks like ours are peas in a pod... I wish I had the balls to MOD mine like yours. I hope to see/hear it someday!
I liked the blue, but my wife's Tahoe is Indgo Blue and I wanted something a little different. I ended up with the SOM and have got nothing but positive comments about how unique the color is.
I went with the Indigo Blue for mine. My second choice was the Black, but my wifes Explorer is black.(Yeah yeah I know, a Ford.) The dealer had to search all over for the color with all the options I wanted. Besides, I am saving black, or white for the Vette.
I have kept count of all the colors of the Avs I have seen since I got mine in October.
The current count (May 21 update) is:
11 Light Pewter Metallic
10 Onyx Black
8 Victory Red
7 Indigo Blue Metallic
6 Summit White
4 Sunset Orange Metallic
4 Forest Green Metallic
3 Medium Sage Green Metallic (NF exclusive)
Mine is Onyx Black.
I wanted Black, the wife wanted Orange, we both liked Blue.
Told the dealer to find one of those 3 colors with the options we wanted.
He found Black first - it was meant to be.
I went with Light Pewter since; doesn't look dirty all the time, scratches and swirl marks don't show and depending on the light it changes color like a chameleon. It is really remarkable how much this paint sparkles in bright sunlight.
Summit White Z66....I traded a Black 2000 Silverado, my last three trucks have been Black. Saw the Black AV and loved it, wanted it, but decided maybe a change would do me good. So I picked that other color...White.
I almost got black because I have a black 87 Buick GN and will be pulling it on a trailer to the Buick Nationals in Bowling Green, Ky. and various car shows here in Okla.
However, I have had two black cars for the last 12 years so I decided to go with something different this time. I think the red goes real good with the gray cladding.
