I would like to get an idea of how much these baby's vary in price by location. Including rebates and incentives. Excluding gms and other employee perks.

I'll start: 2004 SOM stripped except for XM and pinstripe for 26K driveout on 5/1/2004 in Houston.
 
Good Question! I'm looking to get out of my '02 and into an '04-'05 depending on incentives, rebates and such.

Everything but DVD. Sticker was $43,500 and it hit my driveway for $35,500 including taxes and fees, with zero cash down. Could have done better but I'm very happy with the deal. (y)

I will go to the lot today to check SOM prices. $43K - no way! I can't beleive it.
NOTE: No one should have to pay this much for an AV, EVER! Until the AV becomes a special vehicle like the SSR or Vette, you should be able to get it at or below sticker.
 
Fully loaded other than no CD-changer & no DVD, 2002 Z-71 for $33,000. Sticker was $39,000 and change. Of course this was back in August of 2002.

Joe, sounds like a pretty good deal to me. These things have gotten expensive!
 
Got mine April '03. Z71, roof rack, tow package, nothin' else.

~38,500 sticker, got for invoice (~$32,800 as I recall) + TTT

0% financing, couple thousand or so down, no trade (old truck totalled :().

Not a stellar deal, invoice was about best I could find @ 0% in my area when I bought, so I was happy.

I've noticed that some dealers might be using the wrong sticker prices.

Another member who recently purchased their truck got it for $32k I believe. But the sticker was around $40k.

I bought mine and it had a sticker of $42k, paid $38k for it ( not a great deal, but I didn't think it was the worst I've seen ).

The other members vehicle in question was a 4x4 WBH, cloth interior, and no side steps. I can't believe that the sticker would be that high. I did check Chevys site, and priced out it was only $36k for sticker.

Same as above except my Paid was 31,768. Basicaly same truck from what I can see.. Also, purchased mine on 12/5/03

I just bought my new 04' AV yesterday, it is sunburst orange, z71, sunroof, XM, Onstar, leather, loaded up with every possible option except rear entertainment system... 18 miles on it.... MSRP was $42450, I paid after rebates and after about an hour of negotiations, $33000. This was the actual out the door price... I negotiated off $405 plus $240 in processing fees. So far I really love the Avalanche, first new vehicle I've ever purchased.
