what have you run over????

Have yet to run over anything yet in my AV *knock on wood* but I climbed up the side of a 91 Grand Prix in my old K5 Blazer. Damn college parking deck spots real small ;D

Last summer we were in the parking lot of a Wendys restaurant. Next door was a Rita's Water Ice stand. When we were done at Wendys, we got in the Av and were going to drive next door to Ritas. My wife kiddingly challenged me "why don't you just drive right over the curb and landscaping to get next door". I always do what my wife tells me to do..... ;D

wasn't pretty for which vehicle?

Hey Midlife,

It wasn't pretty for either of us....I totaled his car and I received about 6,000 in damage...Left front fender, Cracked front Axel, bumper and grill were messed up...Once Humpty Dumpty was put back together she was as good as new....I really mean that. It rids just like the day I bought her. I've put on 25k miles and no sign of poor tire wear or shaking what so ever....I was very lucky

Fully loaded tri-axle dump truck.

Yea, that is what $28,000 worth of damage looks like. :E:
Yikes!
... but that probably should go in a What have you run under? thread.

Holy Smokes  ! Injuries? Hope everyone was ok! Looks like driver/passenger area held up well but hard to tell for sure from pic.

Curbs are just suggestions to an AV. Nothing like cutting across a parking lot over the tiny bumps to get where you want to go. It really blows the mind of the little cars owners who try to follow.

We were leaving the Home Depot on one of the snow days and I decided to to head straight for the exit. It was an empty lot with about 8" of virgin snow everywhere. I knew that the row were defined by those little concrete curbs. The exit was diagonally over and across three rows. I headed for the exit and a little car followed my tracks.

He should have known better. The AV didn't even notice the concrete suggestions. The little car made a quick stop and shove to the right. Boy, was he shocked! His front tire slid to the side instead of climbing over the bump. ....that little subaru should never have left its' garage.

I was the only one in the Truck! Thank goodness. I was fine after a day at the hospital getting checked out. No major damage to me. 2 days later I was driving my current Avalanche. The Avalanche is built like a tank. It took out the whole front end of the dump truck also (sorry no pics of it). I would say if I was in about any other vehicle I would have been crushed. Thanks for the concern.

Damn Kewl.. don't you know the "Im Bigger..." rule of the road

Glad everyone is ok and too bad for the truck. Glad you got a new one outta the deal.

 for ya!!
