What is the speaker size for a 03 AV?

I have a 03 AV and I wanting to change the stock speakers. Crutchfield says that the speakers are a 6.3/4 but I measure 5.1/4? Which size will work for the front a back and which one will go right in?

Look around in this section many threads about speakers.....

I install 6 1/2 component speakers all around....6 3/4 would fit my 2002

Many 6 1/2 and 6 3/4 are made to fit into a mounting made for a 5 1/4 (mounting hole locations and rear cutout requirements). What you need to double check is front and rear clearance.

I saw a post that stated the size on the 2003.... let me see if I can remember what it was.... hmmmmm

Well, I found this posted by Kodiakz in regards to a 2003 speaker question.

"The fronts will accomodate 6" drivers direct drop in. The rears are actually 5.25, but can easily be modified for 6". "

Not sure if it helps you much. If you are ordering from Crutchfield, they are pretty good about getting things right. If they screw up and recommend something that does not fit, they should happily rectify the situation.
