What is this switch I just noticed after 9 mths

Does anyone know what this is?

After 9 months of driving my 04 Avy I just noticed this today. It does slide back and forth like a switch but I 'm not sure what it's for.

well I don't know about on your truck, but that's where the mic for my onstar is...that's probably what it is

Just to paranoy u guys alitttle.. I've heard cases where they could turn your onstar mic on and listen to what's said in your truck...

I'm sure it was something offensive enough to do so, but it was still uncorfortable to konw my own truck could possibly incriminate me... Needless to say my onstar fuse was pulled >:D

Any mic on any cell phone can be turned on at the request of the FBI. Thanks to GWB it can be done without a warrent.

If you are not up to anything bad, you should have nothing to worry about.

Trust me, they are not gonna tune in when you roll through a stop sign and wait for you to confess before they write you a ticket.

reminds me of a car commercial of a guy driving down the road singing "The Wheels On The Bus Go Round and Round" and the service company comes oon and reminds him its time for service. ?He ask how they knew it and they said because your car told us. ?He asks what else did the car tell you. ?It was either a bmw or mercedes car, I cant rememmber.
