What other parts fit on the avalanche?

What other series of truck items fit on the avalanche? I was looking for items to buy for my truck at www.stylinconcept.com and other truck place and a lot of the items I like don't show up for the avalanche but they do for the silverado. I was wondering if the silverado truck stuff would work on a 2002 avalanche. If so what years and styles of the silverado fit or any other truck parts?

The AVy shares some parts with the Suburban....but it all depends....

check some of the threads in this mod section and sub sections...peeps give places to buy the mods they have done.....it should help ya....

There are some items from the escalade and escalade EXT that
fit. Also some items from the Yukon + Yukon Denali...There are
some items also from the silverado that will fit too.

It all depends on some things. For instance if you have a
WBH there are a lot of Silverado items that will fit .
Cladded Avs are a different story.

I know that escalade door handles,tailgate handles, clusters,
and some of the interior stuff will work.

What are you looking for specifically? Then we can steer you
toward what you want...

I would like to have the body color of my vehicle in the rear bumper instead of the chrome. The tahoe z71 bumper is paint to match and I believe some of the surburbans are to. Please advise.

I've been told the Suburban or Tahoe is the best fit. I have noticed some differences in the WBH and Silverado bumper.

We've had a lot of Avalanche owners go for the EXT Roof Rack.

You could always go for the SS package to change up the front end. That always looks nice.

If you crank the t-bars..........and a few other things you can squeeze 39.5's under it. hee hee

The interior of the Silverados and the cladded 2002 avalanches are the same. As far as the outside goes there is not anything I know that crosses between the Silverados and avalanches besides door handles.

In 2002, the Avalanche is a child to the Suburban.
Interior - A pillars to just in front of the C pillars is all carryover Suburban (except Cargo/Fog switch, TNF cluster, RH body harness). Cargo/Fog switch looks the same, but the pinout is different.

Exterior - Front end sheet metal outers were new, hood is new, rear end sheet metal mostly new (except for bracing). Doors (including mirrors) are carry over suburban, with new skins (holes for cladding). Roof is new, sunroof is carryover. Frame, engine, suspension and hitch is Suburban.

All exterior lighting is new (except neon CHMSL - carry over modified harness from Blazer/Envoy).

Escalade EXT is an Avalanche with Escalade front end. New rear bumper and tail lamps. New LH body and chassis harnesses. Rear Park Assist and Real Time Damping modules are Escalade, but packaged under the rear seat (and software changes).

Note - These vehicles are all based on the GMT800 platform. Many common parts between vehicles. Many parts are carry over, but modified slightly to work with other vehicles.
