What to do, see and hear while at the Southern Regional 2004

I saw in one of these threads where someone ask what to expect as far as temptures in September in your area. I think you said it could be in the low to mid 90's, is that right? I assume because of the park being a canyon there is no shade. Are there shelter houses for shade? Around here 90 is a very hot day! We are thinkng about bringing out little dog and he would need some shade. I am sure I wouldn't take the sun that well either.

it shouldnt bee too bad
and yes there will be shade the canyon isnt as big as the Grand Canyon

just take a little bowl and a bottle of water, thats what I am gonna do with Nacona and she is a siberian husky

What are the chances of doing a mod fest? I know of quite a few OK members who would love to have the sail panel Lights as well as the LOF, but are too afraid to venture on their own (me included). I want to find out what are the chances of doing this one day, where we can just line em up and do this mod to whomever is interested. We can do a group buy prior to and order the items we just need some experience to do it.

I have them on mine. Intimidatoruag came down to a modding GTG we had and helped (DID) mine and some others. I think I can advise how its done and there are threads explaining the steps.

Has anyone thought about maybe going by the Cadillac ranch?
Just a thought.
Be kind of cool with a bunch of AVs parked by a bunch buried Caddys

EQ, I don't think there is an official schedule. Obviously this is not going to be as organized as Paris Landing. (Of which I was greatly impressed!)

See you there!

Not a problem, just wondering about any planned group activities, like a cruise or group dinner or anything. Frankly, I'm into whatever...particularly hanging out and taking it easy!

I thought I had posted something on this. I know I looked everything up a month or so ago as far a s location and stuff. Guess I got distracted

That sounds cool to me. Who is going to set it up for us? I will not get there till Friday to be able to get that going. Put me in for that if you get something going. now if it cost $20/ person or more forget it.

I'm in Canyon. Room 104 at the HIE. FYI Canyon is dry. It's not too far to the closest place in Amarillo, but you drinkers may want to stock up before you get here.

See you tomorrow.
