frito not sure I would buy an all electric vehicle until things change in the battery technology area. Reading your link, that truck only has a range of 120 -200 miles and then it takes 7 to 12 hours to recharge. Not sure I would want to go on long cross country trips or out into the boonies like that, not like someone could bring you a jug of electricity to get you home. Then there is the safety issue on electric vehicles in collisions, if system is exposed due to impact the occupants and first responders need to take extra care to avoid electrocution.
I know many people want to help the environment and operate a vehicle with low or no emissions when running but I have read where when you consider the heavy metal mining needed to make the batteries and then disposal or recycling process the making of an all electric vehicle is more dangerous to the environment over it's lifetime.
I also worry about how much it will cost to replace the rechargeable batteries when they loose their charging ability. It may lead to the first disposable vehicles since it may be cheaper to buy a new vehicle then replace the batteries. Sort of like cordless drills now........
