Looking to purchase a 2003 Z66.
Options 6 disc & buckets-cloth.
Dealer list $42,800.00 CDN $.
Dealer says i can buy it for about $36,000.00 (cash price) to $37,500.00 (gmac 0% financing price??)CDN $ & taxes (15%).

At $36,000.00 & tax $5400.00 = $41,400.00 cdn on the road.

Is this a good price or should I wait for the 2004 model to come out.

Is there a Canadian site similar to GMPRICING.com ?

Im looking to buy thisafternoon or Monday at latest.

All responses will be greatly appreciated. :B: Thanks.

Hi, tough one as the prices vary from one end of country to other, so I will not comment on specific price. Calgary market is pretty strong compared, but there is not as much freight cost so.....?
I would say that once you think you have hit a bottom price then do the running board thing. That is something that costs the dealer a LOT less then it will cost you later. There is also the 'appearnce package' I think they call it. Bug shield, flaps, and window 'visors'. That's another item they might have kicking around in the back.

Thanks Sparky,
now I can justify spending my hard earned $$$.

How much will it depreciate by driving it of the lot, I figure 15 - 20%. I guess on has to "eat" that, if I wait for a 2004 they probably will want close to MSRP, I'm sure the price will increase, etc.

Any idea what the"appearance" package is worth CDN$.

Thanks again. (y)

Sorry, been on the raod and did not see this till now.
When I was looking I used this a lot:
http://www.gmcanada.com/english/vehicles/chevytrucks/chevytrucks.html

You can use the build your own feature to see the MSRP for the different option packages.
Warning to others reading, this is the CANADIAN version
