Wheels And Tires; Will They Fit???

Hello Gentlemen,

I'm interested in buying a set of wheels and tires for my Avy, and ran across a set 16x8 wheels w/ a set of 285/75/16 BFG's AT tires. Will these fit on my Z-66 w/o any type of lift except for a few cranks of the front torsion bars?

Your help is greatly appreciated!

I think you will find this is the size of the stock tire on those sold with 16" wheels not the z66 17"....check the manual it may have the various tire sizes and is liste in the resource section of this site..........

I think the stock size is 265's if I'm not mistaken.

A 285 on an 8" wide rim will be wider than your setup right now, but you should be able to fit them. You may experience some rubbing at full crank or when hitting some rough bumps. I know with a 4x4 you can clear some 285's.

I know some 2wd silverado owners have fit 285's on 16x8 rims on there trucks

And if they don't fit sell them to someone else and make a little profit

Just out of curiousity what type of rims are they?
