made it to Valdosta last night now I'm just waiting on the AV to get out of the shop. I should be arriving around late afternoon 
We'll be therein 2 hours, 15 minutes if you believe Street Atlas USA. Anybody know who we should link up with when we get to the hotel?

I just woke up. I finally got home at around 0730 this morning, got to bed about 9ish.
We had some unfortunate Part 1 crimes happen in the last 24 hrs. which included a rape and a fatal drive by shooting (1 DOA, 1 wounded).
This weekend is the 'homecoming' of one local college and more then one high school. The homecoming bonfire last night of just ONE high school included a large fight of high school girls and the displaying of a loaded, stolen 9mm handgun.
The main instigators of the large fight (in assisting on that one, I walked into a cloud of pepper spray..aarrgg! Girls fight very nasty and very hard) and the pistoleer are enjoying bed and breakfast and other amenities courtesy of the county jail..they were all over the age of 17.
I was pretty well drained when I got home (sinuses are clear from the pepper spray however-our dogs hate it when that happens, I have to put the involved uniform out in the garage until it is cleaned..they keep sneezing when it is in the house)..and looking forward to having the weekend off and getting out to the GTG tomorrow and Sunday.
I have to recharge myself for the rest of today. Working from 6 pm to 6 am screws up your socializing.
