I was heading up to Virginia this weekend to help cut some tree limbs that fell at my parents house and it finally happened....out of the traffic emerged a beautiful shining set of amber drl's. Whoever you were, you were driving an '02 LPM on Rt 58 W out of Suffolk, VA on Sat. I think everybody else except you saw me making a fool out of myself flashing the lights, waving and blowing the horn. Anyway, just had to share my excitement ;D
 
I have yet to see a pair of ambers here in ABQ, but am looking forward to our 1st mini GTG next weekend where I will get to meet a couple of other members at least.
 
I'll be taking a road trip here in a week that will take me through Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and California. I can't wait to see a pair of Ambers that I don't know.

I've seen a couple of them on the highways here in Chicago. My very first pair was actually when I was in Tampa....without my very own AV. I was traveling into the Tampa Airport and I saw a black Av with Ambers. Pretty cool to see.

Me too - the first thing that came to mind was my 17" Goodyears running over the gutter!

The only place I've seen amber DRL's is the reflection in a storefront window!
 
The only Ambers I have ever seen were those that were at GTG. I have never seen them on any other Ave on Long Island outside of the GTG's.

Could have been me if it was an '02 black Z71. I'm in and out of the Tampa airport at least a couple times a month. Of course it depends on when you were in the Tampa area. I installed my ambers only a short time ago. Maybe a couple months ago now.

I haven't seen any ambers although I've seen quite a few AVs.
 
haven't seen a pair ever in the NJ area except for our Friday Night GTGs at hooters. I hope to see a few pairs on my trip down I- 95 and while I am in Florida in the Tampa area. I will look out for you and look out for me Arrival Blue Z71 with those beautiful Amber DRLs :cool:

Unfortunately, I will be out of town while you are here. However, if you look in the long term parking garage at the Tampa Airport, probably on level 2 you will see my AV and its amber DRLs.
 
Except for GTG's, I have yet to see any when I am driving my Av. :6:

The only time I have seen Amber's, was when I had to cruise to New York with a friend of mine to look at a Lotus. We took his truck, and on the way down I say an Av in Connecticut that had amber's.

I saw my first pair in a small Ontario town called Simcoe, I know we have no members there but I still see him from time to time..If I didn't know better I would say he actually goes out of his way to avoid me..
I pull mine up to any window I can get at just to see them..
I recently had my front bumper replaced, I am considering hanging it on the shop wall with some ambers in it..
 
I've never seen any except at the one GTG I've been to.
I was the first one there, so as everyone was pulling in the parking lot, I was like "oh, oh, there's someone, and there's someone else" ;D ;D


I have noticed alot of AVs around though, and I almost always get a "what the . . . " look from driver when they see mine.
 
I have yet to see any in the Buffalo, NY area. :(

Some days I do not see any AV's and then other days I will see 4 or 5 in one trip (none with amber DRL's).

It is hard to tag a usually fast moving AV.

You can often see me drive up and down several aisles in the parking lot to see my own in the store windows! Justthrowit probably saw mine at the Tampa Airport as I pickup family and friends there quite often in my AV. It is an easy and inexpensive Mod,,,,,,,everyone should start with ambers!

It's a moment I'll never forget. We were on vacation to Acadia National Park. It was the afternoon of the 4th of July, I was heading out of Bar Harbor, ME and there they were, shining like a beacon from the front of a Shiny Black Av complete with club decal in the correct location. ;D ;D

Unfortunately, one of my ambers had crapped out on me the day before I left and I had to put the plain ones back in for the trip. :E: :E: :E:

That's just my luck though. I couldn't win a bucked of horse s@&* if there were 10 chances sold and I bought 9 of them.
 
I finally spotted some ambers, not at a GTG, got them going south on Capital Ave downtown Indianapolis, this morning. Looked like a burnt Orange Z71. :B:

You know, I've been looking for you. I always check out Avs parked in parking lots, just to see if they might be a member. I have gotten one wave back from another AV owner here on base.
