I've got an 03 with 40k on it.  Wanting to try the E3 plugs.  Just put some in my grandpa's car.  They look nice.  Well, what is the time in years to change the plugs.  I know it is 100k miles.  But I assume there is a year change too, right?  I already have Taylor Thundervolt 50's.

I personally feel that even though a vehicle can go a hundred thousand miles between tune-ups, a fresh set of plugs & wires every 50,000 mi or 3 to 4 years. will do wonders.
I changed my plugs today (@40,000 mi.) with E3's and installed a set of Magnecore Competition ignition wires that I got from TBYRNE, and they seemed to smooth out the exhaust tone. Tomorrow I'm putting 250 highway miles on her, so I'll let you know how she runs, and if I see any better MPG.

Bad Dad

hope it helps some

Yeah, later that day I went ahead and did it.  Plugs look way better than the OE, but the idle may have roughened up some.  Power seems fine though.  I really haven't driven highway so I will see.

Mainly keep the same heat range with your replacements.

If you doubt your plug's condition, connect a code reader and look for a P0300 code. Perhaps monitor it live too. That's any misfire and it doesn't specifically say it's bad plugs, but it's a start.

Also, pull them and "read" them!
