Where are you NM?

Not yet I have been pretty busy the last few weeks.  Just found out I will be out of town for several weeks next month so I am at a lose for time to work on it. :E: :E:
 
Just got word that I am going to be traveling ALOT this year.  I will be spending a couple week a month in Arizona and then a couple back home before doing it all over again so I am out for planning a GTG for quite a while.  :E:
 
Yep, new Av owner here in Las Cruces.  I closed the deal on 12/31/09.  I see quite a few Avalanches around my area but very sparse activity.

First of all  :welcome:, to the club.  It's hard to get things going but i don't give up, and i live in a small town with about 10 to 12 AV owners.  I have talked to them in person handed out brochures but no sign ups yet.  Hopefullly this summer.  Enjoy ur new wheels and be safe and have fun.

ooKidd and others---plan on being in the El Paso area the 1st-2nd week of March.  Niece is having a baby, so the timeframe is a little loose right now.  Would love to meet up with you folks, hang out and maybe do a little trail running.  Maybe do a little Chico's Tacos or something.  Been working on the truck and getting her ready for the trip.  Probably do a Ruidoso/Ski Apache/Inn of the Mountain Gods run if the snow is on the mountain.

I'm not a new member on the forum but new to Las Cruces and I love Cloudcroft.  I'm up for a GTG, I haven't been to one since I was in Ohio.

I wanted to jump in here and mention that me and the fam have been wanting to visit New Mexico for more than getting through it heading to Puerto Penasco. So Im tagging this basically to stay informed of what you all are planning down that way.

Hey chadstr, glad to hear from someone.  which way you planning on traveling?  I'm in Grants which is nestled between Albuquerque and Gallup NM.  It's an ole deserted mining town, but plenty of AV's around which i have tried to get something going.  Not much to do here so Albuquerque is the place to do things.  Keep in touch and maybe we can just meet up and just say Hi.  I'm always up to that and a few photos to add to the scrap book i keep of the people we meet.

Hey DJ63, how did you find us?  Glad you did though.  It's good to see someone else chime in.  I have been the only one for quite some time; as others had other things going on.  Not much excitement right now, but hopefully things will change.
 
just wanted to say howdy to all the folks here in New Mexico. I got a 2004 Z66 . had it almost a yr. now.  i am in Albuquerque.

Any of you guys around the Alb or Santa area Im currently in WA but am heading back to NM for some time off here pretty soon gonna miss the G2G here :cry: so hopefully I can meet up with a couple of you guys back in NM. (y)
 
I'm down in southren NM, Las Cruces area mostly, but wouldnt mind driving up North...  I'd like to have a G2G sometime once I heal up from my damn open appendix surgery... it sucks.. if anybody ever has lower right sided abdominal pain or even just abdominal pain go get it checked out. found out my appendix burst 5 or 6 days after it happened. its a pain in the A.....
 
Sorry if I'm thread jacking just wondering if there are still gtg for the balloon fiesta as I read in other posts. We used to live out in abq and are trying to make it back out there to visit either this summer or in October for the balloons.
 
First of all Hi Dnr121.  Second sorry to say we have not had a GTG for the balloon fiesta the past few years.  We went last year but it was just family.  Would be nice to get something going for that this year by meeting up in a parking lot drinking a hot cup of offee and some sweets and watching the beautiful mass assencion again but this time from a distance.  Keep in touch and I'll be watching for ya if you decide something.
 
So new here on the fourm. I'm from pagosa colorado I know this is new mexico but I live on the border pretty much anyone in northern new mexico?
