I just saw this today on MSN.com.

GM Debuts Hummer H2 SUT, Xtreme Concepts
General Motors unveiled the 2005 Hummer H2 SUT at the 2003 SEMA Show, which is a new variation of the popular Hummer H2. The SUT replaces the covered cargo area with a small pickup bed and adds a reconfigurable Midgate, first offered on the Chevrolet Avalanche.

Not enough cladding for me. ;D

Just think, with that bed you won't need a bed slider! Why bother with the cycle? IMO it just shows how useless that bed is. Should have just shown how many shopping bags it would hold!

would have been better imo, if they would have offered a hard removeable rear section, i.e. full size blazer - '76 to '91 bodystyle (maybe with a soft cover if you want to leave the hardcover at home), or throw in a 3rd seat that'll fold into the floor. then again i agree that the bed is'nt good for much.

I'm sure that back has its uses. Its the perfect size to hold my lunch. not much else though. Or maybe a pair of bots or something. ;D i wouldn's have tried showing as a bike hauler like they did just makes a joke out of it.

Check it out, Hummer has announced a limited edition version of the H2 called the SUT that sports a folding midgate and power rear window. It's supposed to be available Spring/Early Summer 2004.

They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!!

Very interesting...Karma for the heads up ;D

I still like my AV better......Even with that midgate converted in the H2, you have no where near the room that we gain. I also prefer the gas mileage in the Avalanche versus the H2.
