Who locks thier sadle bags?

I thought I had replied to this one already.  Keep mine locked all the time, along with the tailgate.
 
MIne have probably been locked less than 100 hours in the 11.5 years that I've owned my original AV.
 
In the past 10 years I have owned three Avalanches, and the only time I lock the saddle bags is when I park at the airport because airport parking lots seem to be a haven for thieves. All other times they are unlocked. I have never had a problem even parking in the big city. I believe most people have no idea that there is storage in there.

I lock mine at school because there ruthless. I have both sides full of sockets gear drives hitch tow rope D rings snatch blacks and other tools. Gear and I have stress marks on the front bumper where other cars have bumped into it and they freaking leave trash on it all the time like trash cans on the antenna and bags in the door handles.
 
Yeah, it's different when you are parking in a high school parking lot.  Folks are a lot more trustworthy when you work somewhere where the majority of folks have government security clearances.

That's true and if nothing else they work too and pay for there own stuff like I bought my tools with my own money working along with my avy and most of em it was given to them by there folks and they assume mine was too

I had the same problem in high school with my jeep...people learned when retaliation hit  >:D

Someone keyed it last year too right bellow the driver side window on the back door
 
That crap ticks me off... if you have a problem with me, take it up with me. Not the vehicle I dropped 10's of thousands of dollars for.

I agree it's a pain and they even said there name and was here I was soooo pissed but wasn't much I could do about it and I think I read the name as jake but if it's the kid I think he graduated last year

Yeah now days they would expel me for that and it's like in my design class I'm designing and building a steel bumper for the av with a winch there's this kid that's a prick and he said "are you gona be a idiot and mount it to the bumper or be not stupid and mount the winch to the frame" I told him my bumper was gona be as strong as my frame he said "oh really how bout we test that when u get done we can drive it into something and see which breaks first" I said ok Shure (he drive a honda acord) I'll run into your car and we will see which bends first my bumper/frame or your car he's like " that's a dumb idea" and I said "makes as much sence as anything else you have said" he changed subject after that.......

I had a kid silly string my jeep, so we took his and wrapped it completely in ductape around the car under neath and around the doors.

MY POINT EXACTLY. Whenever my truck is dirty apparently its hilarious to draw male genitalia all over the thing. Somebody even put a dead blue winged teal on my windshield. I didnt feel like dealing with it so I just hit my wipers and flung it off and cleaned it with wiper fluid

This kid was trying to piss off another kid so that he could tell home my car was his so that mad kid would go spit on it funny part is no one would believe he drives a "truck" and it's a pickup I call it a truck from time to time but he says truck like this people who drive priusus say it  :laugh: :laugh:

I find trash and crap on mine all the time just chip bags shoved in the door handles it's almost like I need that batmobile thing when he parks it just covers the whole thing

I want to get a viper alarm kit that has the camera, the little cushion area that doesnt allow anyone to come within a certain distance, the glass break sensor and the one that can go on your phone so that wherever you have service you can be alerted

that would be nice so I can video who ever is screwing with ur car?
Like I also know people have hit my car on the front bumper didn't hurt me non or the avy just a little stress mark but still annoying

On of the kids pranked this loved teachers car he got his Saturn cross over covered in sticky notes it was pretty funny!  :laugh:

I did that at my BIL and sisters wedding- That shrink wrap stuff that you use to palletize bags of concrete and stuff. It was a good joke :) my family has a history of pranking people at their weddings- Jacking up their car and putting it on blocks so they can't drive off, stuff like that :D

I had a stereo stolen out of my first truck when I was in college- I think I knew who did it but had no proof, I got $100 from the insurance company but they almost didn't pay because I was out of state and they said something about not covering me because I didn't notify them where my truck was. I'm like so I have to call you every time I go out of state? Seems a little excessive...

I also had a guy at work put a nice ding and a white paint mark on my drivers side door a couple weeks ago. I found out who it was the next morning but chose not to say anything because he is an angry russian and his car has so many dents and scratches he wouldn't even have known if I caved in his door LOL. I haven't buffed the paint off my door yet though...

The body cladding helps on that some I can't imagine what mine would look like without it I had someone hit the front bumper in the parking lot and has stress marks speaking of colleges went on my first college tour today
