Why can’t I turn the wheels over on pavement?

So I have a 2010 LTZ 4 x 4 with a 6.2 L engine. Yes they made those in Canada and 2010 only. The issue I’m having is I feel I should be able to do large burnouts however I can’t get the wheels to turn over on pavement. Yes I turned Traction control off. I have plenty of experience with power braking but can’t seem to get things spinning. Dirt is no problem. I do have 33x12.50’s but I feel that 395hp shouldn’t have this issue. Any advice?

Good point. I guess it’s time for a supercharger! LOL So nobody on here can do a burnout on pavement?

Are you disabling stabilitrak or just traction control? Do you use the 5-second button press?

No, I didn’t know about that. So hold the traction control button in for 5 seconds? Do you have to do that every time you start the truck like the traction control?

Yes, hold the traction control for 5 seconds and you'll get a different message on the screen. Yes, it has to be done every time you start the truck. If this works for you, I'd like to see a video of a burnout! Good luck broley

You will need to reprogram the ECU and take out torque management for engine and transmission, GM put it in to curb broken parts under warranty.

I agree with above post, GM is trying to save you from yourself and prevent drive-train damage. Just my .02 but I like my AV a lot and want to keep it for a long time, I also work hard for my money and don't like spending it needlessly on things I deliberately wear out and break. But to each his own I guess....
