Why stop North Face Edition????

This my have been talked about before but I could not find it. I am looking at 2004 Avalanche and I was mad to find out they stoped building The North Face Edition I loved the Medium Gray/Graphite Seats and the North Face logo on C-piller ect. When I 1st read that info this summer I called chevrolet they said they did not sell very well, Well I have a few ideas to help them sell Make the Leather seats heated and memory (At leasted heated)would be the biggest thing, give a discount when ordered like they do for the sun and sound package, Ect... I just don't know why they would stop building it I will miss the North Face and Wish I had one.

Same reason they stopped producing the Yellow AV. Not enough sales.

Sad to say, the more I thought about it the more I wish that is the color I had bought. Not many of them.

Oh well! Life goes on!

I considered the option but wanted the leather seating (inserts) instead.
I'd say that it was more likely a contract with Northface themselves.
'Didn't see anything that looked bad to me; just my preference that I chose the Z71 pkg. instead.

I think that the reason people didn't buy it was that it was so expensive and you could get more custimized options for a cheaper price without the NFE. Really you are just paying for the name and having an exclusive truck. Oh, and the bags.

When we saw the NFE at Daytona at the GM exhibit, we thought it was pretty cool and went into shock when we saw the $40K sticker.

Then when we decided to buy an Av at the end of the '02 model year, the best deals were on the NFE's because nobody wanted them. The dealer I bought mine from had 4 black NFE's a white NFE and a blue 2500. All the NFE's were on the ground for at least a year as all of them had low VIN #'s and has 9/01 build dates. I had my pick of any of the remaining NFE's for $34K flat , 500 rebate and 0% financing. The price had me spliting holdback 50/50 with the dealer.

I guess that the pricing of the NFE package and the hideous green interior (which is now very cool) stopped a lot of people from buying them.

I still invite anf NFE owner to register their ride at the thread "North Face Registry". It would be interesting to see how many of us there are.

no more yellow? I didnt really like that colour, I wouldnt buy it. you can see the yellow between the cladding. Oh well I found a 02 black 3/4ton with low klicks that im going probably get
