Thanks to all of you on the WW Trip who welcomed our boys. ?They had a great time and it is great to see the pictures before they even got back home. ?:)
It was a pleasure camping and traveling with Lance and Justin. I hope to see them again at future meets. You can be very proud of your sons!

I agree completely. While I spent a good amount of time ribbing the two of them, they both were very well mannered.

Well, ok, Lance was. That Justin dude, he's just a little troublemaker. ;)

So, Chief ... any ETA on those disposables? There are a few shots of me going vertical that I'd like to see. I wasn't really in a position to give Teresa my digital, so I have no idea what sort of angle I was really at. I wanna see!!! >:D

I doubt it will be soon. Lance said that Chief was headed to San Francisco, Yosemite, and Sacramento next. He won't be in Salem, OR to pick up the two spare tires from me until Friday night or Saturday morning. So I guess the disposables are with him and will get a few more days of riding around.

Which really means "with the :7: seatbelt locking me down, I couldn't reach the digital in its original position, much less the spot along the tailgate that it tumbled to."

I'm thinking he got the Av to about a 60 degree angle or so...there's a spiffy shot of the undercarriage that Chief's toting around with him.

BTW...if anyone else should decide to climb a steep mountain...make sure you either lock your cooler into position or dump all the water out of it before it tumbles across your sleeping bags! :p

Great pics every one I am going to get on Pic. Trail and post some of mine I have all of mine printed and in a binder.....No BigRed did not corrupded me I was just fun hitting the trails a few more time I will see you later

Man it looks like you all had a blast. I'm on the right coast so I couldn't make it. I did buy the T-shirt and poster to comemorate it.

14 is the most Avs together in public I've seen. Hopefully next year at the East Coast Meet we will have a lot

Everyone's pics looked GREAT

Count again. It helps if you look at the wheels. There were 17 Avalanches for our Marble Falls Meet.

 17 is right on! What a time we had fitting those 17 AV's in one frame! What a fun time that was.

17 is alot, there were times when we didn't have enough parking for 14 doubled up. ?you guys keep talking about 14 and 17... the chief said he is setting up some national meet that will hold over 100 avalanches       just wait until that happens! (y)

Everyone's pics look great :D It looks like everyone had a great time. That is such a beautiful area of the country.

 Oh BOO HOO, BOO HOO, BOO HOO!

After viewing all the wonderful pics, I MUST attend one of these cruises it it's the last thing I ever do!!!

:9: I went outside and my AV had turned a shade of (ENVY) green! :9:

You lucky dogs who got to attend WW2002!

Cool I didn't know that there was a pic of 17 Avs together. ?Keep the count getting bigger with every meet. ?100+ Avs in a pic. ?We may need a photo from a hot air balloon from above. ?

:0:Hey how about spelling AVALANCHE with Avs....Now theres a COOL photo. :0:

the chief said he is setting up some national meet that will hold over 100 avalanches... i think he had too much coffee to drink that day ;)
What the Chief actually said was that he wants to plan a national meet with a goal of 100 Avalanches. He made this prediction/dream based on the 2500+ membership statistics. Whether the actual chosen site "holds over 100 Avalanches" has not yet been confirmed, although it would stand to reason that the planners would keep the attendance goal in mind.

Just keepin' you honest, BigRed...

Brendan

BR is right. Besides, I don't think that 100 Avs is not an unreasonable expectation given enough lead time for people to plan vacation time.

i guess you guys are right, i dunno... i feel that after seeing 14 avs my mind just can't take in over 100 avs... and i don't see how my statement is any different then brmiller's, like i said he was talking about setting up an event that he hopes will hold over 100 avs.

~BIGRED

No worries, Red... I was just sayin' that Chief was shooting for 100, who knows if we'll have to quadruple park or what-not. But you're right--I can imagine 25 or 30 Avs, but 100 would be something else. I like the idea of a hot air balloon. Gee, can we get a CAFCNA hot air balloon from the club store?
