Well, we bought a trailer.  Actually, I bought a major project that I hope to make into a trailer.  I'm hoping that I can have it liveable (but not yet complete) by Wild West.  Not that we plan on sleeping in the trailer, but since we're going to be gone 2 weeks total, it gives us a bed.

Here's the linky to pics of what I bought:

Wow now that's a project.  At least you have a good foundation by getting an Airstream  (y)

Well, not an Airstream, but a competing brand.  And I'm told that these were actually built BETTER than the Airstreams.  Notice all those cabinet shells - they are Aluminium - not wood.  If you want to see what I'm planning on doing, check out the 1956 Flying Cloud here.  That will give you an idea of what I plan on going thru.

Come on everyone time to get this thing revved up and wrapped up as to who is coming. You do not want to miss this. So get signed up and plan to have a great time. Let's not let a tradition die here .

Ok there does seem to be interest from many folks to this shindig but they are not singing on why is that ? If you have any questions or are concerned about something please ask. It is going to be a good time for sure and the cruises for Friday and Saturday will encompass some of the most beautiful area you can lay your eyes on. You will not only be seeing a great group of modded AVs running together but you will see some of natures most clear lakes and beautiful country. Picture taking a cruise with other AVs and photographing yours in some of natures most beautiful back drop. Then imagine if you will sitting out in a warm desert night comparing stories, checking out mods, having a drink and good conversation with some great folks. Imagine having such a great time you can not wait for Wild West 2010.
Do not wait and lose out gang. If you have considered coming now is the time to get signed up and ready to roll. Do not let it pass you by and say I wish I had...........

I don't know how I missed this earlier... I'm coming! Looks like a great time and an excuse to catch up with old friends. I'm bring the ATVs too! Woo Hoo!

Aussie is right on the Scenery. I grew up aroud the aera, there is no place like it on earth. The lakes are so clear you can see way down deep. The back drop of the Sierra Nevadas is breath taking. The cruise alone is well worth the drive.

At the request of the CC NVBigDogs...the preceeding thread was moved...I have placed it in history as it seems to be the appropriate place for now.

The reason the thread was pulled (for historical purposes) is/was a change in the format of the GTG.

The GTG was first developed as a "pay" GTG with registration fees.  Due to the ecomonmy and other factors at the time...the GTG was revised to a "Dutch" format.

The movement of the following thread was done to reduce confusion to the members
