Yea, I know Pyd owns a sled.
I don't have a sled. you are probally thinking of the ones you had seen on my property, they belong to a friend. I used to have one, but gave it up.
Jenn and I always have access to snowmobiles, and we would most likly be in.

hey, pyd, just like dichris is suggesting take the Av on the trail, just remember its a lease. ;)
It's only a lease if I dont break it. GM strictly follows the " you break it, you bought it" clause. Looks like Ownership is just around the corner.
Last winter I took the snowmobile trails almost 70 km from one town to the next, in the Av. Too mucky for sleds..

Grey_AV

Do you have a set that I can try out...... If I like them I'll buy them... :-X Need about a month or 2 to really test them....... >:D

:0:
I was south on the weekend and my pair of sleds looked like they were getting ready for a nice cold GTG in our area or Doug's area .
Thats ice riding, ice fishing , and the around the raft race is much easier , even if there is no LEASE involved.
Three feet of powder for Feb and trails that run forever.
Think AVs in the cold.
willmood :) :D

Doug , after seeing yaks streets , it makes you wonder when the sledding starts or stops there.
When does the season start at your place ? We are hoping for at least the begining of Dec.
You need a break from spring planning or was that planting , anyway think snow!!!

;D Bill

vrooom...vroooom :6: :6: :C:All I can do is make the noise :6: I NEED SNOW!!!! and a trailer :cautious:

If I get my hands on a trailer soon I'll come up for a visit in Dec to enjoy the muskoka trails (y)

Oh sure I get rid of my sleds, and don't you know it... a winter GTG.

Figures. but I'm not bying another one now... at least for a while. So if someone wants to lone me 1 I'm IN.

G.

:D
Gene; we will get you looked after somehow, or easily if a certain windsomething doesn't show up.
Doug , have you bookmarked the muskoka snowmobile region yet?
Thats "www.msrsnowtrails.com" if you do.
This will give you trail conditions and all the other items that you may be interested in.

Thanks for the link Bill, I'll keep an Eye on it ;D I thought I saw an old 340 or 120 up at your place, maybe Gino could ride that ;D ;D ;D

Gene

Use a loaner machine, that'll slow you down somewhat!

I use to have a 72 Nordic with a 399 engine........ top speed was about 40 mph, slow, but man it would knock down a few trees pretty good! Smashed rear axle a few times as well and flatened out the boogie's ( do you remember those ).... Fun times as a kid...
Hey when you paid $200.00 for the machine, you didn't mind fixing the damages to it....

No more toys ( with the exception of the AV ).. down the road a nice harley!

:D
Chris : my first machine was a 68 olympic about 18 horses , our dealer still has it, all polished up and labeled an antique . He will not sell it back to me YET. (maybe for Gene)

Considering Gene's AV and his motorcycle, I would think if he did have a sled it would be the cream of the crop....Arctic Cat ZR900 with DiamondDrive (y)

Thanks to everyone that has offered to hook me up.

However those of you who actually know me. If I had to ride an 18 horse... know me well enough that I would prefer to take out my sinlge horse and give Avy4 a ride and see what burns up. >:D >:D

G.

I am interested... I think...
First Question, How far are we talking from the BlueWater Bridge? I have 4 sleds and travel quite often 4 or 5 hours to get to MI upper P region. Have always heard there are several good areas in Canada.
