Wisconsin members, check in here!

I'm around the Johnson Park area. I've been watching all the different forums, seems like there is so much to learn about the truck.

As a new owner of an AV, this club is definetly the place to find information.

John

Hi John! Welcome to the club! If your interested in tagging along Saturday, a few of us are going to D&B's in Addison IL. We will be stopping at the Park-n-Ride on S.W. corner of I94 and College at 11:am, and can stop somewhere further South to meet you if you want.
D&B's Dec. 6 info.

 :B:
Happy AVing

Welcome aboard (y) Things are a little quiet in the Wisconsin area lately. It must be the holidays, or something. They've got a gathering planned for this upcoming weekend at D&B's down in Illinois. PM Jnspur or Biggie if you're interested and they'll include you in their caravan down there on Saturday morning.

Generally speaking, what part of Racine are you from? I'm right north of Wind Point.

JB
Avialanche lives in youre area also, only he's south of the border

I do not live in WI but work for a company based in Milwaukee. I am trying to convince an AV owner in Mil. she should join. I am in the area often will watch for GTGs to try and meet everyone.

A few things here:

1) I'm not the moderator for this section so I cannot change any posts here - this is more of an FYI

2) Folks, lets play nice here. I agree that asking our members to sign up for meets at other clubs using this site to do it is bad form - but the personal attacks are not necessary.

3) Everyone - PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESSES IN THIS FORUM. Here is what happens. You see search engines like Google and Alta Vista as examples have "robots." Software that goes out and crawls the internet looking for information that then goes into an index. This then builds their database. Once upon a time Alta Vista had the best robot and hence the best search engine. Google now without question has the best robot and the results the best search engine.

HOWEVER about four years ago this same technology was perverted. You see SPAMMERS also have search engines crawling the web. Looking for published e-mail addresses. If you're e-mail address is in plain view on a web page (or in more advanced cases buried in an HTML tag) guess what, you are now on a SPAMmers list. Then you know what happens? Yup, that SPAMmer sells your name and things start to spiral.

So with that said you should never as good web practice, on this site or any other one for that matter publish your e-mail address out in plain view, it's a good way to get a lot of junk mail.

So I ask that the drama stop and this get back on topic on setting up some meets and cruises in the Wisconsin area and can folks please play nice.

Hi All and welcome new members. I hope everyone had a good holiday. I know I did! (blackchev got me the WAAG rear bumper guard) I hope to see you at a GTG sometime this year. I will be going through the 2004 Region III meet ideas shortly to come up with a list we can vote on. If you would like to see what we have so far and possibly add more...2004 Midwest Regional

Happy AVing,
Jen

Name is Dan from Milwaukee. Built up my 2000 Trans Am WS6 enough for now and wife told me that I cannot mod my new 2004 Impala SS until I mod the 03 Avalanche. So I am now installing a Series 50 FM with 2.25" pipes and Stainless Steel/Pollished Magnaflow tips out the back. I am getting the work done at:
Jeff's automotive
5261 S Nicholson Ave
(414) 482.3080
$350 installed
So far he sounds great, work gets done on Tue.

I need to pick up a intake, but I am having a hard time deciding which to go with.

Dan

is that 350 for the install and the pipes, mufflers, and tips too? Not a bad deal. Glad to see another member from Milwaukee.

Oh yeah, and guys I'm still around, just been pretty busy lately.
