Anyone going? I saw a commercial on tv for it at the Rivercentre, St Paul. This will be my first MN show so I have a question. Is it like all the other WoW shows where they let ANYbody that registers in to the show? You pay your money, go in, and there are a bunch of stock dirty vehicles with dents and primer? I want to go but I dont want to waste my time.

I don't know how it is where you guys are but in Boston the cars have to be spotless to get in to the show.

1st you have to send in pictures.

2nd they inspect car at roll in and turn it away if wanted. If car is dirty it gets set to wash station that you pay for or you can go home.

Also they have cars on stand by that love to see you get sent home because they will get in. I put my truck in this show for the past 2 years and going on my 3rd next week. Maybe other states are different because the cars don't show up so they let crap in.

I attended on Saturday am.  I was not impressed.  Fewer cars and more model car kits for sale.  There were a couple of car clubs with decent displays....  Camero club,  Pizza Shop  and MSRA.
I think the $50.00 entry fee is a little steep to show your car and then charge the spectators $13.00 to get in.  I toured the entire show in 1 hour.

The cars were decent but not too many customs. There were lots of old muscle cars and hot rods. My 2 faves were the candy 50s ford panel and that grey Kicker Toyota suv. There is actually a Rollers Only Chapter here and I thought that was kinda funny. I hope there are some cruise spots here in the summer. 13 bucks was a little steep! Dont forget 10 dollars to park!! I stayed for like 3 hrs to video everything for my father in law.

There are always car shows on the fairgrounds - just listen for them on the radio.
Also, there's an old Montgomery Ward's parking lot on University Ave, in the Midway (literally between St. Paul & Mpls) that used to have what looked to be a swap meet every weekend during the summer!
Lastly - there are always car shows in downtown Hastings (South East of St. Paul) - my side of town, right on the Mississippi River.

Glad to hear about the shows in this area. I used to go to tons. I have lived in South Carolina,Florida, Louisianna, and Arkansas.  I guess the winters here give you time to get more mods done( if you have a heated garage). Is it too early to put my wheels back on? That 69 degrees last weekend was great!!

If you haven't, I'd wait 'til Easter. We've seen snow quite late up here, well into April sometimes, but the next two weeks is the time when the weather can be all over the place. By early April, it's usually safe.
