WV Informal GTG In Charleston, 1/4/03

Calling all WV AV's!

The chapter is meeting on Saturday night at the Rio Grande in Teays Valley....Liberty Square Plaza behind Putnam Village Shopping Center. (near Big Lots) Exit off I-64 at the Teays Valley/Winfield Exit. (I think it is exit 39) You will see the plaza to your right as you exit. Meeting there at 4 pm for a Mexican dinner, then back to Bubba's Casa for modding and dessert. (2 miles from the plaza)

In like Flinn, picked up one LOF from the FED EX people today. Will get the fasteners and try to track down the draw tite part by Saturday.

Glad you got your LOF Scott.....now all Bubba's black sheep have one.
 
Now that you mention it...no, I have not seen him. It would be nice to see some of our other members this weekend.

Will be bringing along one LOF, two bags of fastners for installation tomorrow night. Anything else? Tools, munchies, beverages? I don't have the "T" connector yet, ordered it last night from a place out of North Carolina.

wvavalanche and nascar, are we modding on yours tomorrow night. Bubba and I have the full time DRL mod down to where we can do it blindfolded. ;D

Add a blindfold to your tool box..I want the full time DRL...do you have a drill or want me to bring mine??? Taney....get my Mag Light Clips???
 
Scott, Sure I want full time DRL's and I'll be bringing my molded mud flaps too.....so I can get your opinions on the color and we can install if we have time.

Ronnie, I'll pick your mag light clips up in the morning. I hadn't forgot. ;)

I'll throw in my drill and bits. We will need an ice pick or small blade regular screw driver for the drl mod.
 
Scott, We have the drill, bits, screwdrivers, ect. Need not bring that with you. Also, Bubba has T connector we can use tomorrow and you can just give us yours when it comes in! :)

Ronnie...are you bringing your paycheck so we can do that 50 cent lift? >:D

As for munchies and such...no need. I will have soda, ice tea, coffee, hot tea, kool aid, brownies and cookies. If anyone wants beer or the like, then we will have to make a stop at the store before heading home.

Thanks Michelle! Will throw some unleaded buds in the side box tomorrow and let mother nature keep them cool.

Saw a ford tonight with the LOF, and if didn't look like he did any lift on it, it was difficult to see until you were right on the back of the truck.

I didn't buy any cokes at work this week, saving up my quarters for Saturday.
 
Oh and almost forgot...Bubba took the AV to Hurricane Chevy today to have the passenger side heated seat looked at. (gotta keep my buns warm...and they weren't!) As they checked it out, they discovered that it had shorted out in 3 places and burned part of the interior of the seat! He had taken it to Turnpike last February and they said it was a connection in the seatbelt latch, and had replaced it. It really never worked even after that. They checked his bun warmer too, to be sure, and it had shorted out in 2 places. She said we were lucky the car hadn't caught fire! Nice, huh? So, now they are ordering the interior parts, heating unit and padding, for both front seats. I like my buns toasted, not burned!
Also, the heater blower motor in the console started acting up, rattling that you could hear above your head in the heat sensor. They are ordering parts for that too.

I just made a batch of "Avalanche Cookies". I figured I'd bring some. They seemed appropriate and taste pretty good. ;D

Michele, I can make some brownies or some fudge if you want me to. ??? I really don't mind to make something else I have all the stuff to make either.... just let me know. I hate to see you doing so much....opening your house up to us is more than enough.

It's no problem! I enjoy entertaining! I'll make the brownies. I have a mix...Ghirdelli's that I get at Sams. It is SO good! My mouth waters just thinking of it! LOL

I will bring the electrical tape........need anything else to munch on?? Scott, your 30 cent idea may be better than the 50 cent.....but 75 may be even better......let's look at it before we make any hasty decisions :rolleyes:
 
With the out of town company I wasn't gonna come, but with all the food talk, I'm tempted. Maybe I could just throw them out, or just leave them here and go anyway.

Just kidding. We will be thinking of you guys and gals too.

Ronnie, Taney got your mag light clips.....the last pack they had.

We found some black reflective tape to put on the mud flaps so I had better go get to work. I think the flaps are the same color as the cladding afterall.....atleast they look that way today :rolleyes:

Just got home from the Bubba's....What a great time we had. Ate good food, Did mods to all the trucks,except Bubba's. (And I only believe thats because he has run out of mods to be done. ;) >:D ) and really enjoyed everyones company.

We enjoyed having everyone here! We'll have to do a monthly GTG. In the summertime, the kids can run outside all evening! ;)
Sorry for the way Colton was acting...he was just WAY tired.
