WV International Auto Show Minimeet and Eating 1-17-2015

Ashley and I are planning on attending the WV International Auto Show on Saturday, January 17th, 2015. I had spoken with Ms.WVAV and Mrs. Bubba and both said they were interested in having a mini meet and eating. We are staying Saturday night in Charleston, so we could either do the car show and dinner on Saturday, or a Sunday afternoon lunch.

How many of our good old fashioned WV members would be interested in joining us?  (y) And how many of our crazy neighbors would want to carAVan down to have lunch or dinner and go to the Auto Show?

Just wanted to gauge interest!  :B:

We are looking at this with some interest but I sprained my ankle last Saturday (coming downstairs to let the dogs out and fell down three steps). :needhug:  It's still pretty painful but I'm on it a lot at work.  Don't know what kind of shape I will be by next weekend.  Wondering how many Kia's are going to show up? :laugh:

We will see how this goes.

Don't you have a history of this sort of thing?  I'm sensing a bad trend here.  Hope it heals up quickly.  A friend of ours missed the last basement step at her house before Christmas and broke two bones in her ankle in three places.  She still has several more weeks before she'll be allowed to put weight on it.  Hasn't been out of the house since she got out of the hospital. 

Perhaps we could get an Ohio caravan of "crazy neighbors" for this GTG.

Taney and I are definitely  in if we GTG Saturday... I am definitely  in if we GTG Sunday!!! :D We let Ronnie know about this... and he seemd interested in eating. Would LOVE to see some of our Northern AV Family join us!  :love:

BTW Ian... I believe  we may be the ones known as "crazy neighbors"!  :laugh:

I think you're right  ;D I was thinking if we could do dinner after the car show Saturday. We normally get to the car show around Noon or before and we leave around 5-5:30. IF that works for you guys  (y)

Oh no! I hope your ankle heals quickly! I can't speak for Kia's  >:D, but I am hoping to be in the AV.. It is still in the shop to get all the small issues fixed. We have been driving around a 2014 Silverado Work Truck for the last week. *sniff sniff*
 
The show then dinner sounds good to me! Michele said Bub has to work till 6 Saturday but they could meet us for dinner then.... so would it be ok to plan dinner for 6?

It happened... kinda! LOL  Ian and Ashley were the only 2 to go to the auto show... Taney said I was asking for trouble  if he went. :rolleyes: After Ian went to the show and Bubba got off work we met for dinner at the Blue Rooster. It was a small eating but it was great seeing Ian, Ashley, Bubba and Chele.  :love:

You missed some pretty AVsome folks  >:D and burgers to die for  :D We "made it happen" somewhat to the extent Melissa mentioned.

Next year i need to think these things through a few weeks in advance  :laugh:
