Well I finially have got some dates and I am going to be coming to the OBX, August 14 through the 18th! So I was wondering if anybody is up to some 4x4'ing on the beach on that Sunday the 15th??? So what do you guys say?
 
Man if I could I'd be on the road headed that way right now! I love the outer banks. My wife and I took our AV out on the beach there right after I got the AV back last June.

I'm totally interested :) just gotta figure out the schedule to see if I can come down.... if I do, I'll come down on friday night and leave sunday night.

We should see if we can get some folks outta VA to come down. Wonder if Bigblock is reading these threads.....
 
come on you 2.....gotta make it :) .... just think J/K's and even better the OBX brewing station food.....ohhhhhh I'd drive down just for that ;)

Now I am driving up on Sataurday from Atlanta. I believe I am staying at duck. So we could start early on Sunday, because I will not be in till about 8pm on Sat.
I want a nice cold Yeungling!! (Time to restock!!)

well so far...gotta see about getting some on call schedules worked out....but working on it.

I'm thinking the Hampton Inn Corolla (usual hotel for us)......probably come in early sat morning or late friday night, when are you thinkin about heading down?

Yea I have been so busy here at work I cant even check the site. But leslie asked about it yesterday, glad I checked today..lol.. We are probably gona go down friday nite. She wants to camp like usual but I will have my cell so we can all hook up once every is there. Can't wait to see everyone again.
Where in WV is Wvsquatch from.. I have family in Oak Hill.....

I am in Atlanta, GA! The WVU is the school where I went to get my nickname of Sasquatch. So someone already used Sasquatch as a username and Wvusquatch was born!!

umm..where ya gonna camp? not too many places in the northern area....too much scrub grass on my property for you to park on it, the lot beside is was clear last time down, you could park on that if its still clear but you'd have to get down there early to find it.

and being like 6'10 doesnt factor into that anywhere ;) ;D so where are you stayin in Duck? A house or ? got room for a stow away? :cool:
 
ok, I've emailed/pm'd just about everyone I could think of in NC and then went up to the Region I area an put a post up....hopefully folks can make it out and we can have a pretty good sized GTG :)
 
Thanks Zuk for the Email about this, I'll have to wait until a little closer to see.

I've got to go wednesday to another knee dr. to see if I will have to have yet another surgery. I've been dealing with this knee now for 7 months and one surgery already.

I'm hoping to go down there some time while I'm out for the surgery. Just have to wait and see when that will be. I had a blast out there on the beach with my AV last June. I didn't get as wild as you guys did from the pics I've seen.

If it all works out I'd love to join in on the fun.
 
Well if I cant find a spot to camp there in Coralla I will head down to hatteras or if worse comes to worse I have a place in NAgs head I can stay I think. But either wy we'll be there and we are thinkin about takin monday off so we can stay alittle longer..
