That's what it is
Maybe I'll just say the heck with it and paint it full zebra stripe.redheadedrod said:I am still trying to decide what I want to do myself...
I am thinking of Krylon or maybe plastidip for now and maybe bedliner later. Not going to do bedlining before nationals. Might just leave like a Zebra for now...

I cleaned my whole truck with a power washer scrubbed it down then cleaned it with windex then a sprayed on Cleaner. After that bulldog adheasine promoter I used a different paint but I have drive through tree branches and no problems I did no scuffing or sanding.redheadedrod said:Rustoleum for Plastic?
We have that available near me too but curious what to use with it... How to prep etc...
I am guessing you scuff the surface and then use an adhesion promoter?
I washed the whole truck, and then I scrubbed all of it with a red scotch brite and plastic deglossifier. I have been kinda working in sections.redheadedrod said:Rustoleum for Plastic?

I have taken mine through bushes and even scraped my thumbnail on it, I still have zero signs of it coming off anywhere. I used this paint only in satin blackredheadedrod said:Hmm, I let mine dry for like 3 days before doing anything with it. Been scratching real easy when I bump up against anything...
I used Rustoleum...

Every time I painted mine, it seems I got better at it.
The next time I have to paint though, I plan to rent a paint gun and get the paint in the can rather than use the rattle cans.
I feel like I will get better coverage and a even more professional finish that way.
Indeed you will! As a guy who use to stain and clear coat all kinds of cabinets (doors and trim) then going to a rattle can for projects at school and so on your paint grade coming out will be a lot better and coverage is so much more even and precise!Dluvr22 said:Rodney

So we were lot driving the other day here in town and stumbled across a 03 limited edition liberty. I got out and was pretty excited because I do miss driving a Jeep. When I walked around the back of the Jeep I knew right away that it was my old Jeep (I backed into the neighbors truck when I was 16). It has had a rough life since I got rid of it. The worst part is that they aren't asking a rough life price. The price they have on it is for a Jeep in good condition, and this one is not in good condition. I guess I'll have to get it out of my head to have my old jeep again.wyotonka said:So the other day my brother brought to my attention that there really isnt much on this truck i have left alone and i am STILL going this was brought up since he has been looking for one for him and asked why mine is pretty base model and still has more gadgets than a typical 03 did so i figured a build thread wouldnt be a bad idea
So we start in august of 2010 when I traded my 03 limeted edition Jeep Liberty for it
Now? I was a junior in high school when these were taken ?. Don?t ask why there was a fear this sticker on a Jeep Liberty I look back and wonder the same thing however as you can see in the senior pic one it was gone by then (and a pain to take off) however it was dubbed the Liberator at school
That's own fault and doesn't justify commanding a higher price. Maybe he'll come to his senses and drop it down to a realistic price after it doesn't sell for a couple months.wyotonka said:
