XM Radio: Does your "info" button work?

My 03 Av has factory XM radio.

It has a button marked 'Info" which is supposed to give you the name of the artist, song title, etc.

When pushed, no matter what channel, mine
always says "No Info Available".

Does this button work for you?

Seems like a nice feature if it worked.

you have to press the tuning knob for info when using XM....LOL...the "info" button is only for FM broadcasts that have additional info in the signal...like the station's call sign or who the current artist is that is playing.

again, check your manual...that is how I found out!

I also have an 03 Av with factory XM. If your radio is the same as mine it's not the Info button you push. On mine, when listening to XM radio I can push the center of the tuning knob and it will give me the song info. The center of the knob is labeled but I don't remember off the top of my head what it says. I think my manual said the Info button was used if your local broadcast (non-XM) stations have some kind of special feature where they can send out alerts over the airwaves. I may be wrong on that last point, I'm operating off my sometimes faulty memory here.
