i was on the highway and in my av

then this guy pulled up to av and said change for a buck and i said "nope not on me" and as soon as i said that i realized that he ment change the av, i felt really stupid :6:

but then the guy pointed to the back and i gave him a laugh

I would be rich right now if i were to do that every time i have been asked that. Every sunday morning at my local Mc D's the guy in the drive threw ask me. I guess he thinks he is funny. I am going to start telling him Breakfast for Change. LOL

vguy2193, yep, still get those words, close to an avrs heart, ...got change, quite often.

i posted, somewhere else, that i did not figure out, for a second, that a beggar guy wanted change, when he asked me about my front liscense plate, got change

we laughed it up, and i thought about getting a t-shirt,
with..................got change.........on it after that!

When I first got my AV back in May 2001 I was always asked got change for a buck in reference to the commercial. I began telling then, that due to inflation it was up to $5 now. I hadnt heard any one ask e that in over a year, then the other day I was getting gas and someone called out you got change for a dollar? I chuckled and turned around to see a man waiving a $1 bill for the pay phone.
