I'm 20, paid for mine in cash, live on my own since 19, parents dis-owned me. lol oh....no credit card/debt either. =]
 
....son just turned 16 two weeks ago.  Got the '02 AVY for him.....bigger, better, and cheaper than a 1/2 sized Toyota Tacoma.  Not even a choice really.....
 
Well I might be a little late posting on this but im 16 and I have had my avy sense I got my listens I don't know if it counts my mom gave it to me for my first car she owned it sense new
 
15 and hopefully getting my dads 02 with some nice chrome rims :) saving up for flowmaster AS WE SPEAK! :D  (y)

Thanks! It already has 122k miles on it and i'm sure hes looking to get something of his own that wont eat so much gas:p
 
You can always do some cheap mods to it first sail panel Led lights 10 bucks or ambers 10 bucks.
 
My son is 15 and is on his learners permit, drives the av just fine. I recently just bought another car (2001 Honda insight, getting 62 mpg) and in 6 months he will be able to get his license. The av will still be my truck, but he will be the one driving it most of the time. Will that count?
 
It says AV Driver Need4speed so he does count.
 
Im 15 with my dads handed down AV i do drive the streets daily.. and it is mine.. added rims, exhaust, speakers and intake!  :special: :kidding:
 
I am 18 now but my dad gave me the avalanche when I was 16. My dad bought it new back in '05 and he knew I always wanted it so he gave in and gave it to me after having me drive a clunker around for a couple of months to make sure I was a good driver.(n)  But the Avalanche looks a lot better now than it did when he gave it to me!  (y)
 
I learned at 15 to drive in my dads. Was driving a POS Expedition and was promised the avalanche if I got really good grades....So I had like no life senior year, and just graduated like 2 months ago, phew. :love:
