What color would you most like to see offered on the Avalanche that is not currently available? ?The yellow coming out in 2003 doesn't count.

I think I'd like to see a darker, deeper red.

I have a few color options I'd like to see:

Metallic Silver (not quite as dark as the LPM)

Metallic Black

Bronze - I saw a Pontiac Grand Prix I think that was this color the other day

I don't believe I saw that one. I'm just pulling colors out of the air pretty much. I ask because I'm thinking of painting my Av a few years down the road, so I'm looking for ideas.

A few years ago, and maybe it's still available, but the Cadillac Eldorado had a deep red metalic that was almost a candy apple red metalic. It shone and sparkled in the sun and emphasized the contours of the body. In the sun the metalic flakes made it look both bright red and deep red dependining upon the angle of the paint to your eye. Ok, let's just say that it "tripped my trigger".

It would have to be purple. Someone did a photoshop rendition of what it would look like a few months ago and it was real sweet.

Metallic Silver

I agree. Ten years down the road, if my Avalanche requires a new paint job, I plan on having it done in metallic silver, similar to what you see on the Toyota Celica, Ford Focus, Nissan Frontier, etc. I like Light Pewter Metallic, but Metallic Silver is even nicer.

I like the color of the concept vehicle . I also like the pearl white that the Caddy EXT comes in, although it probably wouldn't work real well with the gray cladding.

I would love to see the dark carmine red that is on the silverado. I have a small matchbox type av that is dark red with an almost black cladding. Chevy sent this with a brouchure before the av was actually available.They could replace the victory red with this and I would buy it in a "heartbeat".

I'm with carnut, Cadillac CRIMSON PEARL (dark maroon?). It was used on the 1995-97 Caddy STS. (oh yeah!!)

I think the color of the concept AV is good too.

Without a question, the one color I really really want is the metallic bright cherry red that was a special order Blazer color a year or two ago. I think I just saw that same color on a new (trailblazer) style Envoy the other day. This isn't the standard cherry red, it's a bit brighter, much more metallic, and absolutely glows in the sun!

Victory red was my first choice when I was looking for a truck, but I couldn't find any with the options I wanted. Indigo Blue was my second choice. But if that red was available, I wouldn't have even considered any other color!

i'm with goo.. in fact, i'm doing as many accessories in dark purple metallic as i can.. starting with the stripeman decal all the way eventually to powder coating my nerf bars, go rhino step and bull bar (when westin gets around to making one.. lol)

i would do neon underneath too, but i use the truck off road.. i don't think that would do anything to increase the life of the neon tubes..

I love the ideas of the deep reds and purples. ?How about the GM color used on the 86-88 Chevy Impala SS? ?Something Plum? ?It was the same if not similar to the Vette Plum color. ?It could be the special edition AV The Avalanche SS . . . (insert drooling smiley here). ?Sign me up for that!
