Hello everybody! I have an 03 z66, im about to put ford torsion keys on it and add some 285/70/17 bfg all terrains. How capable would the truck be offroad? Anything i should really worry about? I dont have my tow hooks anymore because i got a westin bull bar so id have to tie to the frame if i get stuck. I also have a trailer hitch i could use to get me unstuck.Any kind of advice will be appreciated!  :B:

:welcome: Welcome Trent.

With a Z66, you're only 2WD, so it's not going to be a major off-road beast, but it is still fully capable.  Things to watch out for is width and length - many trails are made for jeeps, not full size trucks.  But as always :nopics:

Haha thanks for the quick response :) im aware that i have a high chance of getting stuck, thats why ill go with a friend to go with me to pull me out, (hey at least its a Chevy)  (y) i still need to figure out how to post pics on here,, last time i tried it said the file was too big :(

Yeah, limit on size (100Kb) - just use any photo editor to "crop" and "resize" to about 500 pixels or so.

By the way, look for my Backroads Thread.  Took all the way from Sisters to the Idaho border offroad and only went into 4WD 1 time to get around a downed tree (on the wrong trail!! - so I had to go around it twice).

I took mine (Z66) down south to see the Baja 250 with my racing friends.
In places my friend in a 4wd almost got struck.
Just know your limitations and you will be fine.
Definitely travel in pairs or more.

I did stuck, just after my friend in his 4wd got out of his.
That's why I have the recovery strap wrap around my bumper here.
