Winding through the country highway tonight I had this F150 that keep staying right on my ass - the highway went from 1 to 2 lanes near a light - he got up beside me and the light turned yellow - after the light it becomes 1 lane again after about 100 yards.

I knew it was Chevy vs Ford at the green light - so I leaned over and told my sweetie what was going to happen at the green light so she wasn't surprised and telling me to back off :)

The light went green and we were neck and neck for a little while until the AV kicked in and started to pull away - at the point the road became one lane his front end was even with my back doors - and he kept pushing it trying to pass me - Advantage AV and I didn't back down and made him fall in behind me :) Then I slowed down and went the speed limit which was only 50 mph - LOL

Poor guy must have been upset at loosing to the much heavier AV and me slowing down, because the next hill we got to with 2 lanes he ripped past me.

OH the fun of beating a Ford

Way to go... Another one bites the dust!

It would be fun to see the AV at work in a tug o war. ;D ;D

Way to go Blueruck (y) (y). It's always good to see a Chevy beat a Ford.

OK, I am going to take a wild stab at where this was ;D. Was it at the light at Pine Junction and you were going eastbound on 285? Your description sounds a lot like that spot :).

One time, even though the Av really can't make it to greater than 55 mph going up Crow Hill, it still beat a Ram HD and an F-150 to the top :). I am not sure if it was an official race but it sure seemed like it because the three of us kept going back and forth in the rankings and we just so happened to be the first to make it to the top :).

Jimmy - you are right about the race location

Now Crow Hill - tell your dad to hit the gas a little harder - I have went up that at 65 no problem and have hit 70 mph - there is a 40mph construction zone now and the cops watch it, so Blue is doing 40 :(

Wow, that was a pretty good guess :)!

As for Crow Hill, sometimes my dad tries to save on gas, other times he guns it especially toward the bottom. The rpm when he tries to gain speed is above 4000 and by then there is not much more torque to work with. The Av is usually under a load with rocks, lots of food, 4 people and a dog too which doesn't help. I know that I have never seen him get it to more than 55 mph going up. It must be the altitude or it's time for some performance mods :).
