Did he know the mud hole was THAT DEEP? It looked like a little easy mud puddle..............till he went in!

Butch

Could this have been a result of a pro cold system or the home built cold air mod ?

I know I am worried about big puddles now that i have a FPIK

nice video, especially the part where someone says, "is he still running?"

hope they get it fixed for ya, Zuler!  (y)

Nice video! Thanks for posting.

the video was awesome.  that mud flying everwhere was better than the water display in Vegas, baby (y)  and may i point out... although it may have technically killed his engine... he DID NOT get stuck and need to be towed outta the mud   :B:  (y)

I believe it is stock ride hieght with 20 inch wheels.

There is a thread called Zulers update for those interested in the damage report. Last time I looked the mechanic is removing the engine to inspect for a bent or broken rod. The good news is his insurance company is paying for most of the bill. :D

Funny thing........ Todd (amd1900mp) and I just went through that same puddle just minutes before. We are both stock height. Todd has different wheels and tires, but I was running on OEM wheels and tires. Difference was, the hole in the bottom of the air box. My AV went through that mud pit like I was driving in a bowl of butter, but it did not strain or over rev. Check out the Ford that I pulled out of the same hole. He didn't even make it 30 feet before he got stuck, and he was lifted with big tires and 4X4!
I love my AV, but there is mud in EVERY nook and cranny. It will take YEARS to get it clean.

LMAO (y)

That's sooo the truth, especially for cladded ones... that mud gets between the metal of the door and the cladding and u can just forget EVER getting it out again, lol

Well, maybe I can tote the pressure washer over. The problem is where to place the mountain of mud! >:D

I hope the lift guys can find the hardware!

They would know where it came from. Especially if Rik's Av is clean!
