07 Avalanche LS: XM ready or not ?

I have an 07 LS Avalanche without Nav. How can I figure out if it has XM capabilities or not.

I thought XM/Onstar was standard in all GM vehicles with a free year Onstar and 3 months XM if bought new.

You still have to activate them whether bought new or used. Some fleet sales and/or commercial vehicles may have been ordered XM/Onstar delete so if a dealer resells a rental company/fleet vehicle it may not have all standard equipment (some pre 2010 vehicles might not have the standard side airbags)

  My XM radio quit yesterday, I changed stations, changed source, pushed buttons, no sound volume   

  I turned it off and turned it back on, it worked.

I got a bill to renew my 2 year contract for $341. Last time it was $297. They must be out of their minds if they think I am going to renew.

I also have an '07 - how do you find the XM ID # to activate?

Tune to channel 0 on the head unit. Should flash your Radio ID
