Vent line, where does it go??

So I just bought a 2004 1500 avalanche, and I was crawling under it checking it out, when I noticed a rubber hose not connected to anything right above the transfer case, I traced it to see where it went, and it ended up having the vent valve end cap thingy, so its a vent for something. So I checked and found one vent on the tcase, traced it and it was hooked up correctly, checked the transmission vent, it was there, as well as the front and rear differential. From what I could find, each of those only has one vent line, is that correct? The one that isn't connected has a y connector to the transmission vent, so for now I plugged off the unconnected end so water doesn't work its way in to the tube (of course I didn't plug off the vent valve :) ) So is this just some random extra vent line, or am I missing something that is also vented??

Thanks,
Sterling
