it was a blast.  Once i edit and adjust all the pictures i'll post the best ones :)

Good to meet everyone.  June will be a blast.  I was thinking on the way home, just to let the you guys know who haven't been, there is a entrance fee, like 10 dollars i think.  It all gets donated to charity.  I don't mind, but i dunno about the rest of you guys

Cool with me too, specially for charity.
Maybe make it a voluntary thing, we don't wanna loose members in case they can't afford it or just don't agree with it.

I had to down size my pics. lol

well if they don't wanna enter their trucks into the show and shine they can just park a couple blocks away and walk in.  If they do want to enter though, they gotta pay the man :P

I checked out devenport and yeah.  They suggest against doing a tune on our trucks unless you got headers or a supercharger.  They told me unless i did those things they would not want to touch my truck.  Maybe they just thought me a fool but who knows.

I'm stoked for the june g2g

See that's crazy everything I read says GM so "conservatively" tunes these trucks that a dedicated tune can make a real difference.  If Diablo and the like can post a 30HP increase, shouldnt a dedicated dynotune best that?  Nelson Performance has a large following for custom mail order PCM tunes, I would think for a reason.   What scares me about  this davenport place not wanting to touch the truck outside of a major power adder previously installed seems to tell me they don't have alot of tech skill in the tuning department and would rather rely on the majority of HP increase from bolt-ons rather then computer fidgiting.  I'd look elsewhere gotta be more then one speed shop here in Alberta.

That might be the case, you might be right. That was the only one in Calgary that I know about.

Light Speed in Red Deer will tune it for you for sure. They did mine, and now I have a deal worked out with them.
I loved the tune they did to mine. I was sitting beside him and told him exactly what I wanted, and he did it as we where sitting on the Dino. 100% satisfied.

But I'm not sure if it is feasible for you to drive all the way here just for that.

I would say it's totally worth the drive if you get the best quality of service and reputable work done.  I had my bumper made by a place almost 2 hours away from Edmonton because I felt real good about the place doing it, in my mind you can't beat that feeling of ease knowing your stuff is being looked after and well cared for.  What you put in can make all the difference in what you get in return.

Just my 2 cents however, to each their own.  Now if I can just make myself not want a blower anymore I can look at getting a custom tune done instead without it being a waste.  :4:
