There are primitive sites available as well. Overall site map: Lincoln State Park
As I drove through there the other day I noticed all kinds of activities available. Boat rental if you want to go fishing, paddle boats, a couple of playgrounds, a 'beach' that doesn't open until Memorial day . Also, just a few miles down the road is the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial. We could take a tour over there with our AV's on Saturday if we're so inclined...otherwise we can just hang out and mod!
And - if you are so inclined, just a few miles down the road is Holiday World and Splashin' Safari amusement park. Unfortunately the water park doesn't open until the following weekend, but the rides will all be open. They've got some great roller coasters - but none of them are considered 'thrill coasters' as they are all wooden coasters, no loops, corckscrews, etc. It's a great park, free Pepsi products all day, and great shows, games, etc. It's been rated a No. 1 family fun park a number of times. It's an option for anyone wanting to bring their kids along!
