"CLUNK" Low Speed Turns

2003 AV Z71 --on slow speed Turns there is a Clunk Noise Heard ( Out side of Vehicle ) ( sounds like a ball joint "pop " Already Checked BJ's they are tight )-- I just Lubed Suspension -( grease fittings/boots were dry ) -However noise still heard- Any Ideas - Torsion bars

just took my 02 in for clunk noise in steering and the dealer ordered a steering shaft kit for it .i had the same problem in my 2000 silverado and they replaced same steering shaft. will post back after part is installed.

We have it too on an 03 Z66. Took it in once for a TSB service (greased the steering shaft I think) and it went away for a while but it's back. Back to the dealer this week!

Sometimes mine does it, sometimes no. thought it was the tailgate falling again.

I've got this too. Took it to the dealer last week and they didn't hear it. Taking it back tomorrow to make it make the noise myself!
