Not sure if this belongs here or where, but I have a question about swapping out a factory radio head unit for a factory navigation / radio head unit.  Is it possible to do and how much extra do you need to get to get it to work right.  Just curious what all is involved.  Thanks in advance.

Yes it is possible, if it is used it will have to be unlocked by a dealer and you will have to buy a antenna for it.

Just pull the old unit out, install the antenna and put the new unit in. Be sure not to get a LUX headunit.

A luxury Bose system comes in Escalades and Denalis and Avalanches come with Premium Bose system You get better sound quality out of the Luxury system and they are not compatible unless you swap amps and rewire the harness.

The simplest way is stick with the Premium system.
