Anyone have thoughts on a cover for the 14 bolt? My stock cover is leaking and I need to replace it. Wondering if I should just use the el cheapo stock replacement or are there any advantages of going with a fancier larger capacity finned style cover?

If you do some serious towing the mag-hytec is a good one, but $$$

I warned ya, a couple other companies makes them also not sure of the quality thou

There are other covers available if the Mag-hytec is to much.. The B&M has a new design that adds additional support on the end caps.

I replaced my rusty OE with a cheapo Dorman cover.

I watched awhile back.. Makes you think about installing an aftermarket cover.. But did he ever come out with a cover, the testing quit months ago..

Banks finally came out with the last video on his new diff cover, they look pretty good and have been on the market for little while now... And they clear sway bars Byran...

Thanks for sharing.

I watched the earlier series a while back and I was concerned when that series ended with no resolution.

Looks as though they have done their due diligence.

That's interesting video, now let's look for the price.

No model for the 10.5 14 bolt

I watched a bunch of Gale Banks videos. That guy knows his stuff. He illustrates how those flat back diff covers starve the pinion bearings of oil. The higher oil volumes are not doing the diff any favours either. Stick with the stock round back design. It was made that way for a reason!  (y)

Banks designed a new diff cover for towing. Has air scoops and cooling fins.

They do not make them for the 10.5 14 bolt axles yet, we have been waiting but I don't think it's going to happen.

Well I guess Banks is never coming out with a 14 bolt 10.5 inch differential cover so B&M here I come.

Hurry up and buy one, because you know as soon as you do, they will make one for it.. Then I can get one...

Yeah I know, but sometimes you know when a part needs to be
replaced. :E:
