Afm lifter after warrenty

At best you will have to pay just labor, now for the hard question how many miles do you have.

It's a 2007 with 94,000 miles bought as a GM certified in 2011

Even though you bought a GM Certified vehicle it's four years since you bought it, 8 plus years old. I would say that there's no way GM is going to warranty anything unless it's a recall. If you bought an extended warranty, that may cover a mechanical failure but those typically cost in the thousands of dollars and most people don't.

Yeah it's a little old and too many miles IMO. I know a lady with a 08 with 64,000 when hers when out GM replaced hers and she had to pay labor but that was last year. They did it as a goodwill gesture and she was the original owner.

But it can't hurt to ask.  :p
