The 02-06 have a long running thread of 200k+ mile AV's. I know a handful of you here in your 07-13 are above 200k, but lets show them off too.

My 2007 bermuda blue LTZ 6.0L is at about 187,000 miles but I picked up this 2007 black LTZ 5.3L is just over 216,000 miles.

Original trans but has had 2 lifter swaps in its life and new timing components.

Other than that, it rides smooth!

That blue one is still one of my favorite trucks, blu_fuz.

Did you have to replace your motor?  I had to replace mine at 175,000 and GM wouldn't even pay for it.  It started having problems with the rings and pistons at 77,000 miles!

So I am actively looking to buy an avalanche and seeing so many folks with the 07/08 models with high mileage is heartening, despite the bad rap. So my question is, what's the secret? What do you all do specifically makes the difference especially concerning the tranny and engine. Thanks.

Does 315,000 miles count ??

Engine overhaul/upgrade at 250,000 and original trans rebuild at the same time...

Still going strong !

I just wrecked my 04 with 200k+ plus on it now in the market for an 13 Black Diamond Edition one

If they are looked after they will last for ever.I have actually seen a 2008 with 350,000klm and never has been opened up.And still running great.

It is like anything else if you put the maintenance in it to take care of it they go forever. My 02 had over 200, my 03 had 230, my 05 had 176, my 07 only had 65, my 08 had 155 my 13 had 82 and my new 08 has 101 right now.engine work done underfactory work at 101. A very vew hub assemblies, a ac compressor or 2 has been the worst of it.

Just a a question...looking fr the black-and-saddle interior that came on some black 08 z71s...any out there.

2011 LTZ 234,XXX original trans, original motor/lifters

Currently down for a brake job and suspension conversion.

2007 LTZ, Just purchased last week 223,000 miles. Runs and drives great... Smoother ride than my 2012 Ram Crew Cab I recently sold.

I've mainly owned Mopar vehicles in the past and I know they had a program that when your vehicle reach a milestone you could email them and they would send you a license plate frame for free. Anyone know if Chevy has anything like this? Here is an example of one I've received from Mopar in the past.

Not a license plate but they give you a hat and some other neat memorabilia. Check out Chevy Truck Legends.

2010 LTZ, almost 223K. Rebuilt trans 1 year ago. Have put around 40K since March 2019.

These electric operated running boards, were they an option or did it just come on certain years?
