I have a 2004 Chevy avalanche Z 71 1500  that has recently developed a problem filling up at the gas station.  I can pump gas for maybe a fourth of a gallon before the pump shuts off.  In reading several of these posts, I have changed out the evaporator purge valve on the top of the block, And I have changed out the purge canister underneath the back of the truck by the tank.  I?m now at a loss of what to do.  I have no codes concerning this problem.  Can anybody point me in the right direction?

When you changed the purge canister, were the vent lines clear/unobstructed? Can you disconnect the lines at each end and send shop air through it?

Is the purge valve you changed something like this vapor canister vent solenoid? https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-214-2149-Professional-Canister-Solenoid/dp/B001KSCSQU

The vapor canister link you shared is the same part I replaced underneath the truck by the fuel tank.

That is the solenoid that regulates the canister, what about the canister itself? Have you inspected or changed this part? https://www.gmpartscenter.net/oem-parts/gm-canister-asm-evap-emis-22963841/

Happen to frequent gravel roads? It can get clogged with dirt. You may be able to clean it out:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqzZ8imD3Os
