Rear air ride shocks went bad on my 2013 Black Diamond. Tire of the air system issues so don't want stock replacements, even if I could afford them. What springs and shocks to replace them? I do regular towing and heavy load hauling.

The problem you will have by not replacing with same type of shocks/air compressor and lines is that it will set off warning lights and codes on your dash. Unless you find some way to fool or bypass the sensors and warning equipment.
Those who have found ways around that problem have used various brands of shocks with the Bilstein 5100 shocks being very good quality and is the brand used on the Z71 model AVs.
Take some time and read the older threads to see how LTZ model owners dealt with the problems and good luck with your efforts.
