2011 LTZ Z55 Rear Shocks vs. Z95 Rear shocks
« on: May 26, 2020, 10:59:30 AM »

I mistakenly ordered new Delco Z95 vs. Z55 rear shocks for my 2011 AV LTZ and installed them prior to realizing they were the wrong ones. I have no errors and the air leveling/ride works fine. Does anyone know the difference? Someone from a Tahoe Forum said "Per Robert at Arnott, the Z55 & Z95 are the same suspension units. Cadillac cleverly created a new part number and began calling autoride magnetic to justify charging a premium for high line parts." Rather then tearing my truck back apart to change them out with the correct ones, I would like to leave them installed, but don't know what issues they may cause, anyone?

Well they could not call it magnetic unless it was magnetic somehow as that is False advertising and GM is smarter then that.

Did they fit?
DO they work?
YA happy?

I would just keep them on then.
