If there is anyone who is in the Polk County area of Texas (Livingston area) that has some real info coming in can they share? I have been able to talk to my parents on the phone but they have almost no area information. They know the dam is damaged (they are upstream - no issue), that county winds peaked at 117 MPH, and that there is extensive tree damage. They heard today no water or power for at least two weeks but do not know if there is anywhere they can get water, ice, as their supplies will not hold out for two weeks and they are two days into their 3 to 4 day water supply as it is.
They'd leave and go somewhere else but there is no info on roads, gas stations open and traffic, and don't want to get caught in the reverse evacuation and run out of gas somewhere to be S.O.L. and in an even worse sitaution.
Any info from anyone with info (or links to info) appreciated.
